Property coming soon in an ideal location for exploring the Lake Diestrict honeypot and attractions, as well as walking some of the very best fells & valleys in England. It is one of the most famously associated locations in the whole of Cumbria.

Coniston and Rydal water are close by and provide excellent opportunities for water rides or gentle walking. 

Ambleside with its shops, restaurants and inns and plenty to do on a day off is a classic.

Coniston with its local micro brewery and world famous associations with Bluebird.

Local Fells for those looking to feel the wind in their hair, the scenery of the Lake District National Park is second to none. Helvellyn, Catbells & the majestic and scenic Langdale Valley horseshoe are all in close proximity. For the less energetic, there are lovely walks around the shore of Rydal Water, the Loughrigg Fells or around Wordsworth’s & Beatrix Potter’s haunts.

Hawkshead – why not take the chain ferry over Lake Windermere on a day out? Or walk around Tarn Howes and ramble around Beatrix Potter territory. Easier walking with places to stop and eat or buy local on route.
